Hi, In october I got a new computer at work that came with a trial version of
Excel 2007 and Word 2007. The trial has since expired, and I decided to
simply upload my old verson of excel (and Office...) instead of buying the
new one. Now, whenever I try to open an existing excel document, it
automaticall opens with Excel 2007 (even when i tell it not to) or it tells
me that my file is not a Win 32 application.
How do I dump the trial version of Excel 2007 and get on with my life?

That will remove it from the add and remove list but It still opens as a
reader like program in addition you can't shut with task master.

Tried add\remove does not work

Hi Max

In Windows Explorer>Window>Prefetch>delete the contents of the folder

it will get rebuilt for you as you load your applications again.

Thanks Roger. This also improved the speed of my computer.
Appreciate the help.

Max
