Micorsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse and Screensaver

I am also having problems with Micorsfot wireless keyboard and mouse in Win
XP SP2. The screensaver and power options cease to function. When I remove
the wireless keyboard and mouse the screensaver and power options work
correctly again. Does anyone know the fix?

This is a common issue with wireless keyboards and mice. See if you have
the latest drivers for both devices. Also check on the device
properties (Device Manager) to see if there are power management
settings you can disable. Since I don't use wireless keyboards or mice,
I can't check for you here.
