mht file make IE hang

[active]

If I save a site in an mht file and then open it, IE opens but hangs with
the status bar flashing that the site is being downloaded.

I need to use the task manager to get rid of it.


Do you know how to fix this?

Some web sites have active content that cannot be saved in the .mht format.
You may not be getting an error message when saving the page(s) in question,
but see this article for more info:

Error message: This Web page could not be saved
