Messenger will not automatically sign in

My Windows Messenger (4.7.2009) will not automatically
sign in. After each boot, I have to open it, click sign
in, I get the .NET Messenger Service window and I have to
completely re-key my E-mail address and Password. I'm on
a company computer and I suspect this is a registry
setting. Does anyone know which registry key I need to
update?

Thanks,
dw

Some additional information....On the General Preferences
tab, I do have the "Run this program when Widnows starts"
checked. Also, when I get the .NET Messenger Service
login window, I don't have the option to select "Sign me
in automatically".

Thanks,
dw

Greetings dw,

Yes, there is a GPO (registry) setting to control this. Assuming you have proper access to
override, it simply download and run the following .reg file:

You'll need to reboot to see the change.
