messenger webcam

Hi Ive just downloaded the new messenger as instructed, but now having
problems. I used to be able to see my friend on his webcam even tho I haven't
got one, now I can't, why? Also, I can't see anyones pictures anymore when
I'm chatting, I can only see the one of me, but my friends can't see it when
chatting. Anything I'm doing wrong?
 
Hi, I'm having problems with my logitech quickcam pro 4000 for some reason
even mine won't install right????
