Messenger wants an IM account

When I start up Messenger 5.1 I get "You are not signed in to SIP".
A previous post suggests removing the offending IM account via Tools
-> Options -> Accounts.
But there is no 'Accounts' tab under tools.
Anybody know a workaround?

In your reply you did not say --Options---Accounts--.
Did you do tools---options---accounts and not just
tools---accounts ?

Also, Group Policy can control which type of Accounts
(SIP, NET, EXCH) show up.
