messenger runs but no window

For some reason, my msn messenger will not launch (no window) in xp. I
see it running in task manager on the process tab, and I am able to
use it fine from my other xp user account, just not from my "normal"
one. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version, AS and
AV scan
too for good measure, no luck. Suggestions please.

What version of MSN Messenger?

What is the difference between your two accounts?

Is it being blocked via your firewall?
