Messenger Email Not Verified

I keep getting an "E-Mail Address Not Verified" message. When I try to verify
email, Windows tells me to respond to an email message in my inbox, but there
isn't a message there to respond to. Is there a way to get Messenger to
re-send the email message so that I can respond to it and get my email
verified?
