messaging interface has returned an unkown error

The inbox in Outlook refuses to allow me to delete any
email and an error pops up saying "messaging interface has
returned an unkown error"

any ideas on how I can fix this? I have rebooted several
times without it getting fixed and have also repaired the
program with the original disk - also not fixing it.
Please help!!!

Did you ever solve this problem? I just started having the exact same problem this morning. Please advise if you have any helpful info. Thanks!!
