messages to newsgroups not showing up

I am having some trouble with new posts to newsgroups...sometimes they don't
show up. I usually see my responses to the ones that DO appear, but think I
have missed one or two.

For instance, last week I posted a message entitled something like 'bizarre
behavior' re my coworker's pc...about the fact that a previously minimized
program suddenly pops up, and about the fact that files are being moved on
his hard drive.

It is nowhere to be seen.

Since some of my messages make it and some don't, I don't know if this one
will ever get seen. I'm also VERY careful to note which forum I'm putting
them in, so that's not the issue.

I am running XP Pro.

Finally, I should say that I'm an advanced user; have been using computers
in the business world since 1985.

Any thoughts welcome....if anyone sees this!

PS. Is there a web version of this forum...wonder if they show up there.

Don't know why you don't see it. You posted it with the subject "strange
behavior" on 12-4-03 at 10:27 CST.

Now we're getting somewhere....I can see this message, but I went back and
nowhere can I find my message re 'strange behavior'. The last post I have
for anyone on 12/4/03 is at 10:20pm from Rick, then it jumps to 12/5 at
12:13am from Steve Harvey.

At least I know it's getting to the server. So it could be something about
outlook express perhaps? Thanks...Jan

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why I'm not seeing all messages for a
certain time period?
