Messages Sitting in Outbox, but partially sending to recipient

Hello

I have been having troubles with large files (500KB+) not sending properly.
The recipient will receive multiple copies of the email as the message
resides in the Outbox. Tonight's troubled msg: 27 times it hit the recipients
inbox before I deleted the email from my Outbox, as it was STILL trying to
send out. 27 sendings of the verbiage, not including the attachment, over a
75 minute period.

Email isn't intended for the transfer of large amounts of data at one time.
You should use FTP or web hosting to transfer files that large. You should
also disable antivirus scanning of outgoing mail and increase the account's
server timeout value.

What version of Outlook are you using? What kind of mail server? Is this a
POP server? IMAP? I'm guessing not Exchange. What kind of connection are
you sending over? Dial-up? Cable Modem? DSL?
