messages from a sender automatically go to Archive folder

I have Outllook 2003 connected to an Exchange Server.
The problem is that all the emails that I received from a specific sender
(just that one) are put automatcally in one of mine archive folder and not in
the Inbox folder. Moreover I started receiving 10 duplicates for each email.
I deleted all my rules but without any result.
Anyone knows why all these emails are automatically archived as soon as I
downloaded them,
and where could be the problem for receiving 10 duplicates only from a
specific sender.
Thanks

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanrules command line switch, which
should clear out all rules, client as well as server. Ten copies from one
individual points more to a problem on the sender's end than one on the
recipient's end.

Thank you very much Brian. I solved the problem but I want to explain what's
happened 'cause is really weird.
I started Outlook with the command >Outlook /cleanclientrules, but when I
went to check to Rules and Alerts window, sure to not find any rule, insted I
found the same rule repeated 11 times!! That's why I got duplicate emails and
they were put into an Archive folder.
But why those 11 rules were hidden before? And the command /clearclientrules
is not suppose to erase all my rules?
Anyway, I easily fixed the problem simply deleting the duplicate rules...
