Already set that way.

Thanks,

Tom

As mentioned earlier, your problem seems to be with the server. Use the
MS server and you shouldn't have this problem.. just click the following
link and it should be created in your list of servers.

That is the one I am using.

One of the messages I have been trying to reply to in the
sqlserver.programming group, was the Perfmon not connecting message.

The message that I have send about 10 times in the last couple of days is:

**************************************************************
I did do that.

The machine I am trying to connect to is CatSat. I am trying to run PerfMon
on Pteradon. When I try to put CatSat\tfs into the "Log on" of the
Performance Logs and Alerts Service Properties (on Pteradon) it won't accept
the credentials. Says the Account Name is invalid or does not Exist (which
it doesn't on Pteradon). Local System is not checked. "This Account" is
checked and is where you put the credentials in - as the article mentions.
There is no Domain here. These are machines at my house. The Domain would
the Machine Name I am trying to connect to. I also have a user on the
CatSat machine (tfs) but when I try that it gets changes to ".\tfs" and
won't connect either.

When I try to connect to CatSat\tfs from Windows Explorer on Pteradon it
connects fine.

Is there somewhere else I need to set this?

Thanks,

Tom

I have sent plenty of other messages with no problem - so not sure what is
going on here.

Maybe this one won't get through.

I am using this one.

There must be something in the message that they don't like.

Can't see anything that stands out.

I just sent this message a few hours ago with the message that wouldn't go
through and it was dropped.

The only difference between that reply and this one is the message.
