message won't send

after writing a message I click the send button. some messages do not
italicize for sending and stay in the outbox. I am using Office 2007 on a new
computer with Visat 64. Is this a compatibility problem and are there
solutions?

Is Outlook running at the time you compose and send the e-mail? Or are
you just using the stub code only needed for the new-mail compose window
to appear and clicking Send? If the latter, Outlook isn't fully
running. The stub that loads for the new-mail compose window gets
unloaded as soon as that window gets closed. That means nothing of
Outlook is running afterward to actually do the sending of the e-mail,
so it sits in the Outbox awaiting you to open and send it while Outlook
is actually running.
