Message when Outlook starts

Whenever I open Outlook a popup window appears notifying me: "The file
C:\users\deebee\desktop\contacts.pst cannot be found" When I close or cancel
this small window a larger Create/Open Fersonal Folder window opens showing
me the possible location of the contacts.pst file. After I close this
window, all is OK. It's a recurring nuisance. How can I "close down" this
search for contacts.pst. I know the location of the file and I have already
imported the info into Outlook.
Thanks.

This is one of the problems with using the import function. You need to
go to Control Panel-Mail-Data Files and remove the entry for the file
that doesn't exist.

having a few problems with my reinstallation of appications, in paticular:
Outlook.
