Message Suck in Outbox

Hi I have read the posts about this, and I am having the same problem. When
I click on the messages in the outbox, the preview pane shows that "the
message cannot be found". I have tried the download and that doesn't work.
Can somebody please help me, as this is driving me mad (and why has it just
happend now when nothing like this has happened before!). Please help, as
this is driving me mad! Thanks

Which download? More than one has been mentioned. The one usually
recommended first is:

Have you tried both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version? The wrong
one for your version of Vista won't do anything.

What antivirus programs if any do you have, since some of them cause
such problems, although seldom immediately?
 
Thanks very much for coming back to me, I seem to be OK now - not sure why it
suddenly changed, but everything is OK this morning - fingeres crossed it
will stay that way. I dowloaded the 32 bit (which is correct for me), but it
took 3 reboots to get things to work, but once I was able to delete the
messages things have started working again :)
