Message Rules Not Working

Don1

I have applied rules for junk e-mails but they keep coming through. In
addition to selecting the boxes for "where the subject line contains specific
words" and "where the message body contains specific words" (these are
separated by "or" in the rule) I have also checked the box "stop processing
more rules" as suggested in another thread. The "delete it" box is also
checked. Do the words applied to the rule need to be case sensitive?
Any help appreciated

I, too, have problems with Message rules on Win-Mail. I set up 2 message
rules and they fine worked for a few days and then disaappeared altogether.
I did a system restore, a scan of my hard disc, and set up 3 new message
rules. Today one of the message rules had disappeared and I have no idea
why. In each case I asked for the offending messages when identified to be
deleted.

In order for new message rules to be saved they need to be written to
the registry. Either your antivirus program or one of your other security
programs may be blocking writes to the registry. Some of the security
programs known to do this are:

Ad-Aware Ad-Watch
IBM Access Connections
Kaspersky
McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware
Norton AV
Spyware Blaster
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Spybot- Teatimer
Spysweeper
Spyware Doctor
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5, reported to be fixed in later versions.
