Junk mail, message rules

I would like to prevent mail from one of my accounts from getting dumped
into the Junk Mail folder. I want to do this only for one account out of
several. Thing is, the stuff that comes in on this account usually gets
dumped and I'm getting tired of the daily, careful scanning of the JM folder
that's required to make sure I don't miss anything. Yes, every once in a
while other stuff gets dumped there but it's rare and they're easy to
recognize. Not so for this special account. No, I do not wish to change any
of the JM settings. I tried a message rule, but the JM filtering apparently
occurs prior to message rules being applied.

Any ideas? Do I have to set up a separate Identity? Is there a Registry hack
that will let a rule be applied before the JM filtering? Or a way to only
apply JM filtering to certain accounts and not to others?

Sorry, there is no way to have a custom rule applied before the
junk mail filtering, nor can it be configured on a 'per account' basis.

I have not used this for a long time but previous versions were very
good (Better that Outlook, OE, Thunderbird and any other filter I've tried).

I suggest the OP have a look because I've not had time to read the new
release data but the older versions treated each account separately, so
in fact two users on two different machines could use the same "Proxy".
Of course that was not really the idea but it was possible.

If I get chance I might give it a try again.

Awwww, shoot!

Thanks for the prompt response. Guess I'll establish a new Identity. I can
simply disable the JM filter there.

You're very welcome.
Another option is to run two separate mail programs under the same
Windows user. I always run Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail
simultaneously.
