Message Rules - do not downlaod from server

Can anyone help????

In outlook express you get the option not to download
messages from server but its not there in any version of
outlook? - why? Can it be done?

unless i misunderstand your question, you can go to (in OL2000)

TOOLS:ACCOUNTS

highlight the account you do not want to receive messages from, click
PROPERTIES and uncheck the box

INCLUDE THIS ACCOUNT WHEN RECEIVING MAIL OR SYNCHRONIZING

you can still send mail from that account but you won't receive
anything.

if you meant you want to leave a copy of the message that you have
downloaded on the server then (again in OL2000)

TOOLS:ACCOUNTS

highlight the account you do not want to receive messages from, click
PROPERTIES and then ADVANCED.

check the box LEAVE A COPY OF MESSAGE ON SERVER

It's sure there in mine. What version of Outlook are you using and what
type of account?
