message not sent

trying to send an e-mail with attachment of scanned document, message saying
"not able to send e-mail - not enough memory".

I don't understand, this is a new computer with more than enough 1tb !!

Help
 
I don't think it is anything to do with the computer memory. I would guess
you isp has a limit on what you can send and would suggest your attachment is
too big.

How large is the attachment?

Which antivirus are you running? Make sure it is not configured to scan emails.
