Message appears on start up and after switching user

I have a new computer. Whenever I start it up or switch user a blue message
box appears with the word analog on it. After a few seconds it disappers.
What might it mean and how can I resolve it?

I'm guessing you have a monitor that accepts both digital and analog inputs,
and that you have an analog signal going from the computer to the monitor.
The "small box" is probably a function of your monitor and not Windows. It
just reminds you what kind of signal is being displayed. There may be a
setting on the monitor itself that will turn it off. When you switch users,
the monitor takes that as restarting your computer and then displays the
alert again.
