Merge word document at end of another document

I'd like to merge a word document as described, but want to reserve the
original formatting and font style. When I inserted it at the end of my
original file (on a new page), word changed the font and page format to match
the rest of my document, and all the pages changed in the added document. I
want to add this adocument as an appendix so I want it to be exactly the same
format as the original printed document. Thanks
