Merge PST files

S

smh

I have Outlook 2002 on one pc [Win2k Pro sp4] and I just added a new pc with
Outlook 2003 WinXP sp2]. I would like to "merge" the two pst files on the
new pc. because there are a few emails on the new pc that I want to keep,
and don't want to just "wipe out" those emails when I import the old pst
file from Outlook 2002.

Please, any help would be appreciated and welcomed
Thanks

Never import a PST file.
Just open it in the new installation and copy what you want from it.

Thanks Russ, as a somewhat neophyte with this, how do I go about opening and
copying as you suggest?

File > Open > Outlook Data File...
This file will now appear in the Navigation Pane. Use Folder View to see all
its subfolders.
Drag and Drop any data you want from it into your current Outlook Data File.
Or use the "Copy to Folder..." command in the Edit menu to do the same
thing.
