Merg document

I have created a merge document in word (2007), pulling data from an excell
spreadsheet (2007). When it populates the document the dollar amounts are not
formatted as they are in excell, they have 16 characters after the decimal
point instead of 2. Does anyone know how to correct this?

It might be better to ask this in an Excel newsgroup, or even a Word
newsgroup. This newsgroup is dedicated to the Microsoft Access database
product. The Microsoft website may have misdirected you.
