Display Access currency field correctly in Word mail merge?

We have a current Access database and we are trying to pull currency fields
into a Word form letter using Mail Merge. In mail merge the data is
displaying with 3 decimal points or more instead of 2. So a dollar amount
displays as $7.045 instead of $7.05. We have checked our field formats.
Does anybody have any ideas, suggestions? Is this a bug in the new Office
2003? Everything worked fine when we had Office 2000.

The best approach is to create a query that uses the Format function on the
fields in question, and use the query for the merge.
