Menus require expanding (the little down arrow)

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone knows a way of getting menus to
stop needing to be expanded everytime that I open them.
In my Start Menu (I use the classic Start Menu), I see
about half of the list (which is only about 10 long
anyways since I sort it all into groups). In order to see
the whole thing, I need to click on the down arrow to
expand the menu. The same kind of thing has happened to
my Office menus.

I have tried playing around with just about every setting
in Settings->"Taskbar and Start Menu", but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Nick

Right-click on the nice green Start button and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize and uncheck
the little box next to "Use Personalized Menus".
