Menu Items No Showing

Hi All,

I hope someone can help me, this is driving me mad. When I click on the
start menu, select programs all of the programs installed are displayed, but
when I select a program item on the list that has a sub menu, i.e. MS Office
Tools, the items in the sub menu are not displayed, a representation of the
list appears as a faded list and I can't select a sub menu item. Similarly
when I run an office program, say Word, the menu appears across the top but
when I select a menu item it appears as a gosted menu. I have tried all the
usual, AV, reinstall the lot. I am running Win XP for the Tablet PC.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Hi Mark,

Have a Tablet here as well. While I have never has these issues, I have
troubleshot it for others.

1. Make sure your display drivers are updated. If you have recently run an
MS update, do a rollback for your drivers.

2. If this seems only to be related to Office programs, check with the
Office groups.

3. Lower your hardware acceleration.
