After move my documents to another place, 2 my pictures and 2 my music exists
in the same folder, i deleted one of each. and then my music and my pictures
links were lost in the start menu.
Meanwhile, in the explorer view, the link to my document is also diappered
in the other place menu.
Any one could do me a favor?

Hi Xinyin,

Which method did you use to move the "My Documents" folder. For instance, if
you've relocated them to a removable drive, and if the removable drives are
inaccessible by Windows (during startup), the links will remain missing in
the Start menu.

I just right clicked the my documents on the start menu and move it to
another logic disk. Not a removable disk, just the same disk.

Another problem doubts me is that when i restarted it today, my music
appears on the start menu but there are TWO folder named my music appeared in
my documents folder. When i directed to the folder by the dir command, there
is only ONE item named my music.

i'm sure it's not the cause of the virus or malicious softwares.

TWO folder named my music appeared in my documents folder.

Okie. Can you verify the shell folder paths in the registry? The default
values are given here:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/usershellfolders.htm

Check the paths for My Documents, My Music and My Pictures.

i think some registry information must be lost about my documents
when i save a file in the save as window, the place bar does not contain my
documents.
Even i use tweak-ui to make a placebar manually(my documents selected), it
does not appear.
