My Music regedit

My Music folder was lost (hard drive crash). I had moved it off the C: drive
to an other internal hard drive (320GB) for my 18,000 songs.
I tried to create it in default My Documents folder which is ok but Windows
doesn't recognize it.
I tried the Start - Properties - Start Menu - Customize - Advanced - My
Music - Display as a link but it still doesn't show in the start menu and,
more importantly, iTunes can't find it either.
I tried TweakUI but that doesn't list MY Music as one of the SPECIAL FOLDERS
that I can change the location to.
I have updated the registry but when I restart the computer my registry is
reset to not finding the My Music folder. Is there a key I am missing?
Is there a next step? Thanks in advance.
