I am a new user and would ;like to know what the memory in a computer does,I know the hard drive is for storage but what does the memory module do ,i am told that the larger memory the better ,does the information stay in the memory or does it go when i switch off.

Yep memory goes when you switch it off.

Lager memory does alot for software and games.

Loading time are quicker aswell
