And the second has some software that came with it to lock the drive. (Actually, the first one may have its own software, too.)

D Debra Dalgleish Nov 21, 2004 #4 And if you're trying to save files onto the removable disk, make sure it's connected to your machine before you start Excel. However, it may be safer to save the files onto the hard drive, then use Windows Explorer to copy them to the removable disk.
