Memory Not Releasing in Task Manager

L

Larry Groehler

IE6 is not releasing memory after IE shutdown. Each time I load IE6, it
holds a block of memory as shown in task manager and does not release it.
After several times of bringing up the IE window, there will be multiple
instances in task manager of memory allocated to IE6. The only way I have
been able to release it is to manually end the process in task manager. Has
anybody run into this problem and if so, is there a fix?

Thanks,
Larry
