Memory loss

Something has recently started to grab all my system
memory so that my machine can't open an application or
browser window even, if an application is already running.
I have up to date virus software and have run "Stinger".
I have also run AdAware and nothing nasty has shown up. I
did have Kazaar until recently.

Go to run,type:Msinfo32
Chk the tabs excpecially hardware and forced hardware.

Also, open the task manager and select the processes tab.
See if you have a column called "mem usage". If it's not there
add it from view/select columns/memory usage.

When it's visible, click on the "mem usage" button, and it will sort
them in order. Check to see what's using all the memory.
