Memory Issue with Movie Maker

I made a 40 minute movie in Movie Maker using a combination of digital video
captured at a low resolution (640x480), digital photos, MP3 files as
background music. There's a couple animated transitions and titles.

Whenever I try to save the movie, it says I don't have enough memory. My C:
drive currently shows 147GB of free space... seems like it would be plenty.

What in the world can I do to get this movie onto a DVD?

Thank you!!

Just updating my post below... it may not be a memory issue. The actual
message says:

"Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location.
Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available,
that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free
disk space available, and try again."

.... Given that my C drive shows ~150GB of free space left, and I haven't
moved any of the source files since adding them to the movie, I can't imagine
what's going wrong.

Any help would be GREATLY(!) appreciated.
