Movie Maker

I am currently using Windows XP home edition. When using the movie maker, I
am having trouble saving my movie to either my hard drive and a recordable
CD. I have downloaded pictures from my digital camera and added background
music that I have downloaded. I am able to view the movie within the program,
but not able to save it. After the movie is made, and I try saving it, an
error message pops us saying the wizard is unable to save the movie to the
specified location. I definitely have enough hard drive space, as well as a
recordable CD in the drive. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

I have used Windows Movie Maker (version 2.0) to do exactly what you are
doing, which is put a soundtrack to still images and turn it into a movie
viewable on a home DVD player. I will assume you are going File>Save As and
then telling Windows to save the finished movie to some directory on your
hard drive. Try another directory and see if it will save to there instead.
Once you have the movie saved on your hard drive you should then be able to
burn it to a CD. You may have to choose to burn it as a VCD, depending on
your burning software. It may have to be encoded by the software to do
that. This can take some time. Good luck!
