memory error?

George

I'm using WinXP-pro and was exploring files and folders, When I simply
clicked on one folder (named.. awstats_data_002), it gave below error and
then PC flashed back to just plain desktop again (that is, the file explorer
screen vanished). I wondered what this might mean, and how to correct it.
Thanks,
George

The instruction at "0x7c9106c3" referenced memory at "0x005c0030". The
memory could not be "written"

Click on OK to terminate the progrma

The particular folder was...
c:\Documents and
Settings\George\2005\MsIntExp6WebFiles\........\awstats_data_002\

and I think it either had nothing in it or it had some htm and png files

George, do you use your computer for gaming? If so, you might want
to check your Ram using a program like
Memtest. Do a google search for it.
