got the above msg for module kernel 32 at
2925:5578716...what should my next move be???
also got a shell_notifyicon fail, are the two related, if
not what should I do for the 2nd notice???

You have the famous SWEN/GIBE virus. spread in attachments to bogus
Microsoft emails. MS never sends updates via Email.

Did you recently get an E-mail message, purportedly from
Microsoft, and installed the attachment it included? If so, it
wasn't from Microsoft (Microsoft never sends out patches by
E-mail) and you installed a virus.

You have been hit by the Swen virus.

A cleanup utility is available if you go to
http://www3.ca.com/virusinfo/virus.aspx?ID=36939
and in Characteristics, Cleaning Utility available, click the 'please
click her'

Do that on an uninfected machine. Extract the ClnSwen.com and
FixSwen.inf files from it, put them on a floppy, set that to be write
protected, on the infected machine

Right click on this FixSwen.inf and take Install. It will remove
registry entries that may prevent the 'Clean' program from running
Then double click the ClnSwen.com to clean things up
