Meeting requests?

Can you configure Outlook calendar to have a meeting request go straight to
your calendar? I thought it could and I had set it up previously, however I
cannot find this section now.

You didn't specify what version of Outlook you're using, however...look
under Tools | Options | Calendar Options and you should find the option to
automatically accept non-conflicting meeting requests in there somewhere.
Where, exactly, will depend upon your version of Outlook.
