Outlook 2003 , Exchange 2003 Ent SP1.
We have many users set up as delegates for their managers. Delegate access
was set through Outlook, but some delegates also have full ownership of their
o managers mailboxes.
Many users send and receive meeting requests on behalf of managers. Some
mangers have Blackberry's, the rest just have Outlook 2003. All Outlook
clients operate in Cached mode.
In some instances a meeting request is sent to say 8 people, all 8 reply
(either themsleves or their delegate does) and a response is sent back to the
meeting organiser. Of the 8 recipients, 2 will have responded but the
meeting just disappears from their calander (there are no rules set, nor is
the meeting actually deleted).
I originally thought that the problem may have been related to using Outlook
Cache mode but I have'nt been able to prove it one way or the other. Have
tried turning it off and the problem still exists.
No other items are disappearing from users mailboxes, just meetings.
Searching Technet does'nt show any known problems.
Any help would be appreciated.
