meeting request turns into an e-mail.

I have an issue. When I send a meeting requuest it turns
into a regular e-mail. I'm running win 2000 outlook 2000.
this happens every now and then and every option seem to
be ok. My mail format is set to rich text. I go to file/
new / meeting request.

You may have Outlook set to always send to certain contacts in Plain Text.
To test this, open the contact record for someone you've had trouble sending
a meeting request to. Double-click the e-mail address. In the dialog box
that pops up, is Outlook set to send to that person in Plain Text?
