MediaPlayer 9 cannot receive radio stations

Jeff

I am running XP Home SP1 with Media Player 9 and am a novice at listening to
radio on the internet.

When I am on the internet and click on a radio station that shows the Winamp
icon, a window opens that asks me if I wish to open with the default :
Winamp. I click yes, Winamp opens but after a while tells me it cannot find
the file. I found a station where I actually get the radio to work
correctly, but most of them I get this error. What might be doing wrong?

Actually I am such a novice that I misspoke. It is Media Player 9 that
cannot seem to find the file. The radio station that worked used Winamp.
