Medial Player 10

I upgraded my Media Player 9 to MPlayer 10 but now I cann't get sound from
CD's. I've tried everything, no luck.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

I use XP Home Edition SP 2

Hi Bill,

Open Media Player 10. Tools / Options...click on the Files Type tab. Make
sure that "Music CD Playback" is selected. Click Apply , OK.

Found it Darrell, it is checked OK but still no sound, probl will go back to
MPlayer 9.

Don't give it up yet...Patience is a virtue.

Right click on the volume icon, select "Open Volume Control". Make sure
Mute is not checked for CD Audio.

to fix something not broken or M$'s propensity to write poor

Now that was too simple, it solved the problem, can't imagine why the
default would be off but anyway, tks for the patient help Darrell.
