Upgrading Media Player

Guest

I tried to upgrade to Media Player 10 today - it got as far as deleting Media
Player 9, then came up with a message telling me that the version of media
player I was trying to load was incompatible with my version of windows.
I then tried to reload Media player 10 and got the same result.
I've tried system restore, but that doesn't work.
Any ideas ?
I'm using XP Home Edition.

Launch your Windows Media Player 9 and from
the Toolbar select: Help > Check for Player Updates.
This is the proper procedure in order to upgrade
to Windows Media Player 10.

Go to http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html and search on "incompatible".
