Hi, Jazzyb.

What kind of media? DVDs? CDs? VHS tapes? Network connections?

For specific answers, you'll need to ask specific questions. What are you
doing (step by step) and what results are you seeing? "I tried everything"
doesn't help us help you, and neither does "it doesn't work". :>(

Hi,

Sorry, I Have music stored on PC mostly MP3 (downloded) format or CD's and I
usually play them in media player. It is just the music I'm hoping to do.
Now In Media Sharing I can easily see music stored on my laptop that runs
windows xp MCE, what I would like is to share where all of my music is
stored, on my Vista Home Prem running tower, on the laptop. The tower only
seems to want to share media to only users on its own PC.
Hope this explains it better for you

Sorry not trying to confuse anyone, I was just explaining that one pc is
vista and the other is xp mce. I'm not actually using media centre for
sharing, I using media player 11 on both. The laptop shares its media to the
vista tower, but I can,t share the tower onto the laptop.

Might need to have a user/pass combination on Vista that
matches the laptop in order to share it.

Hi again,

I have sorted the problem. IMy music was not stored and monitored in the
windows media player, after adding to library media sharing accomplished.
Thanks for your replies and help Regards Jackie
