Media Player's Library Repeat Songs

I'm having a bit o trouble with my media library. I've accessed my music from the same external hardrive over different network conigurations, so now I have some of my songs listed in my library 3 or 4 times. I'm trying to delete my library so I can rebuild it and only have on song listed in the library...any ideas?? Thanks for the help!

To delete a song from your library, simply highlight the song(s),
right-click then delete from Library. Be sure NOT to have it delete
from you computer or it will do so!

Multiple configurations are going to cause this problem for you again
though.
