media player won't open

My media player was working fine an hour ago, but now it will not open. I try
to open it and I just hear a click sound. I tried opening a music file and it
did the same thing. How do I fix it?

Try a System Restore back to a point before the problem started.

Is it already open and hidden behind some edge of the screen? Try
Cntl-Alt-Del and see if it's there in the list of processes. If so, just
end task on it and then try to reopen it. Otherwise try rebooting.
