Media player problem

I used to be able to watch Video clips online using Wondos video player 10 or
11 but now I get this message "Your computer is not connected to the local
area network (LAN) or to the Internet"....."The proxy server settings for the
Player are not configured properlyVerify that your proxy settings are
correct, and then try again".
I did uninstall version 11 but even version 10 has the same problem, I check
proxy settings and followed the instructions so all protocols are checked and
autodetect is checked also but still the problem is not resolved .
Is this something related to my Internet security system? It seems after
updating to new windows patch I get this problem.

In Media Player, under Tools | Options | Network tab, under "Streaming proxy
settings", is (Protocol) HTTP set to "Browser"? Highlight HTTP, click
"Configure...", and check the "Use proxy settings of the Web Browser" box,
not "Autodetect".

Thanks for your response I have already tried al the settings you mentioned
and I did it again but it didn't work then I tried to work on the settings of
my Internet security software and I found the fix which was caused by
security software and I fixed it.
Thanks
