Media Player problem

Hi,

I upgraded my motherboard a few months back and eversince
then, I have not been able to use Windows Media Player.
If I start it, my computer freezes almost immeadiately as
soon as the song (or radio broadcast, or anything) starts
playing.

Other players do not have this porblem asreal player and
otehr players I tried don't seem to have any issues.

My motherboard is an Albatron board with an AMD Athlon XP
2200+ CPU. It has integrated sound (Avance AC'97) on it
but no Video. I have a separate card for that. Also, I'm
running Windows 2000 SP4. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

Solved my own problem. It turns out I needed the new
Nvidia drivers for my new video card. The drivers that
came with it were from 1999!

Averros.
