Media Player Cache...

OK, I'm sick of Media Player storing every bit of info
about every file I ever play on my hard-drive somewhere.
WHERE is this crap stored so I can delete everything in
the directory???

I made a sample MP3 to test on a program I am working on
to edit MP3 tag data and while EVERY other MP3 player
shows the updated data for the MP3 each time I play it,
Media Player shows the ORIGINAL one.

I can't find any way to disable Media Player form doing
this crap either, and it's really getting me hot. I know
there's info in "Docs And Settings/User/whatever", but
deleting that stuff does NOT make Media Player forget,
even if you close MP, delete the stuff, empty the recycle
bin, and reboot! It ***STILL*** remembers!! How can I
stop this?
