Media Player 9: Can't detect device!

Michael

I usually burn my mp3 music to CD using media player.
Recently, I tried to copy music but it seems that the
player can't detect my device. I'm using laptop and the
cd-burner is external. But, when I go to My Computer, I
can see the device connected properly. What is the
problem?

Use some decent software. Nero for example. Its worth investing in a copy.

Any don't forget that to burn mp3's you need to burn a data CD, not music.
If you want to burn a music CD you need to de-compress the music(mp3) into
wav format. Nero will do this 'on the fly', ie as you burn. However I find
its safer (like sex) to go slowly. Use WinAmp to convert the files then
Goldwave to 'normalise' the sound. THEN burn.

Cheers,
Jerry
